router for netbook

I have recently installled a router for my netbook.!

Since then, my internet seems to be crashing nearly every day!

Coincidence? What could be the problem.

The router light was on orange again this morning, instead of being on Green.

please can you help, many thanks

I have been laid up all day with awfull cold, sneezing, sore throat etc, so sorry for delay in answering you.
Since I spoke on here, my o/h turned everything off and rebooted, and all has been ok. But dread again, so will follow your advice in the morning if it should happen again --bet it does.! thanks once again x pusskins
