cannot restore system image from a disc ...?
5 Answers
i reformatted my computer a few months ago an had a fresh install of win 7 on it...at that time i created a system image restore/repair disc, using the function win 7 has
i dont have the win 7 disk here as its my friends (licenced for 3 machines apparently) and i dont want to have to bother him to get it as frankly hes a pain in the arse (beginning to wish i hadnt installed it really)
when i try to now reset the machine back to that time with the disc, and thus a clean install...it doesnt even register that there is any system disk available...i also have system back ups on my hard drive that it seems not to recognise either....
any ideas how i can reset to factory settings?
i used to be able to do with a partition thing on vista....
is there any other way?
thanks
