Hi Mollykins.
After posting this yesterday, I have had no reply to my email to your cadet group & will not be sending anything until I am assured it would only be used for the purpose discussed.
///After seeing a video clip regarding your Sea Cadets efforts to raise funds to purchase their own powerboat I am wondering if you have the facilities setup for the public to contribute to this.///

Nothing to do with me I know, but its possible that the leaders have full time jobs and help with Sea Cadets as volunteers in the evenings and weekends. Its unlikely they'll have set up any facilities to contribute online or anything very sophisticated, but you never know.
What I'm pretty sure about, is that they will have worked really hard to get the BBC there (they don't turn up very often and certainly don't give it air time unless they're failrly impressed with the story) and will have a genuine "Powerboat Fund" underway.
Like a lot of voluntary groups, things aren't always quite as well organised as those paying professional fundraisers, but I hope they reply to you and offer some reassurance.

Ron, yeah all the instructors have jobs and they were all teaching last night so might not have got round to replying to all of them.
I just tried to find something like headed note paper or a letter that'll have the email address on, jsut to make sure you sent it to the right one.
But there'll be people at the unit tonight so one of them might reply.
