I seem to have acquired a virus which is asking me to pay via credit card details to MS Removal Tool to allow me to access the Internet.
ApplemobileDeviceService is infected...........it says.
I think it is a scam, but can't get rid off it.
Can't access the internet at all...this post is sent with another PC.
Any ideas?

You should mind paying, because whoever made this malware has no right to get you to pay for anything and is attempting to scam you of your money. Would you mind paying a man to move out of the way of your front door so you could get out of your house? Who cares if he moves when you pay him, he shouldn't be there and there won't be anything stopping him from coming back.
Can you start in safe mode?
Try that before you do anything.
Do NOT pay them or give them any information whatsoever.
If you can't start in safe mode, right click anywhere on the bottom of the screen and click Task Manager. Click the applications tab and see what is running. If you see anything you don't recognise end it, and then run your security software.

Try the Avira Rescue disk - you;ll have to download it onto another computer and burn the ISO to CD, then boot your infected machine from the CD. You can download the latest release from http://www.avira.com/...antivir-rescue-system
