How do you pronounce scone?

I personally think it's 'cone' with an s in front but more people say it to rhyme with gone. How about you?

This could be war DT!!! Butter!! I eat many cream teas from many different places, I have never heard of putting butter on a scone for a cream tea and to be honest Cornish cream is in every way identical to Devon cream and we also put the cream on first. Ive read that the Cornish cream tea is different, in all honesty there is no difference at all lol
