Will ancient Jornada Pocket PC work with new Compact Flash cards?

You may be able to help me with a query about my ancient Jornada Pocket PC (PPC 2002 O/S);

Due to not being able to use active sync under Windows 7 to transfer
files (that's all I want to do!), I am investigating buying a large Compact
Flash card (4 or 8 GB) so I can transfer loads of my music, documents
and MS Reader ebooks from my PC to the Pocket PC. Apart from the
active sync problem, I'd like more space on my PPC.

I have looked at what's available and find the Compact Flash cards now
come in a plethora of sizes and specifications, eg 60MBS/sec, 30MBS/sec,
133x ultra speed etc. as well as different capacities.

Since I assume the Jornada I have predates all this new technology I was
wondering whether it actually would work with it? I know that USB2 ports
won't work (or at least won't operate) at USB3 speeds, as an example,
so I am loathe to order a CF card not knowing if the Jornada will recognise
and work with it!

If you have experience in this area I would be glad to hear from you.

Thanks in advance,
