Word - how to set viewing of files to list
When you are choosing to open a file in Word you can display the filenames in various ways eg. tile, list etc, using the view menu. Since I had to re-install my operating system, the display keeps reverting back to tile no matter how many times I change it to list, which actually crashes my computer when I try to look at photographs. Is there a central window I can change the display to list, so it will not keep reverting back? Thanks.
Answers
Yep.
As ever if you'd mentioned any details at all about your system, such as at least what version of windows it would help to answer though!
Basically open any explorer window, set it to the view you want (list) click on the tools menu, select folder options, click on the view tab and then click the button that say make all folders like this one.
