Does anyone else get this? Sometimes, after reading answers I click the back button and come back to the category page to go to the next question. Just as I'm about to click, the mouse cursor moves about an inch closer to the top of the screen of its own accord. Why?
Maybe the ball inside is dirty, or it's old and you need to replace it. Open it up and see if there's a load of gunk inside. Or sometimes a mobile phone can interfere with an infra-red mouse.
Get yourself an optical mouse (with red light beneath). You won't have to clean a gungy ball any more and you won't need a mat. Also, you won't want to use your old mouse any more! PCWorld are selling the Packard Bell optical presently on offer at 10. Trish.
