Hi,I am using bearshare to download music.Is it possible or legal to put some of this music on cd.If it is could someone explain(slowly) how it's done please.

It's probably not legal for you to download the music in the first place, let alone putting it onto CD.

You can't really shut down a p2p network, once the software is out there it will continue to run for as long as people use the software. all the stories you hear about file sharing networks being shut down tend to mean that future development of the software is over.
