My mouse squeaks!

And, no - this shouldn't be in Animals & Nature!

I've just got a new pc with a wireless mouse and keyboard and they work fine, but the left click button on the mouse makes a small, but really annoying squeak/creak when I press it.  Is it okay to oil or WD40 it or will that burger it up good stylee?

You could do, but you wanna be proper careful! Try it, it should work, but it may be better getting a new mouse. You may want to take it apart to get to the squeaky bit.
