help, how do i do a system restore off with malwarebytes running

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If I've read your question correctly (which I'm not 100% sure of!) you're seeking to turn off System Restore temporarily while running Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware.
The following is for XP, but it should be fairly similar in other versions of Windows:
Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
Click on 'System Restore Settings'
Click alongside 'Turn off System Restore'.
Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.
Then run Malawarebyte's Anti-Malware. (Go through the procedure above afterwards, to remove the tick alongside 'Turn off System Restore').
