Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Guardian genius crossword

I can not display the interactive screen for the Guardian genius crossword, no 95 by Lavatch. No response from technical support.

Has anyone who has IE9 or FireFox 4 and uses Java 6 managed to display the grid?

Comes up for me but I haven't a clue what version of Firefox or Java I'm on. Old ones, I suspect.

Works with both Chrome and Opera

I have IE9 and it works for me. Are you sure you haven't disabled Java?

Java is enabled - I am using Java 6.

As I mentioned above, there is no problem displaying the website with Firefox 3.6.

IE9 reports the error as, "Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website. It appears that the website continues to have a problem" and closes the tab.

The problem ONLY occurs with the genius crossword. There is no problem with the daily interactive crosswords.

Just tried it again and displays ok with Firefox 4.0.1
