Bizarre Skype / bluetooth headset problem

I can hear all music, computer sounds etc through my bluetooth headphones.
If I call the Skype test service I can hear it ring, and then nothing. No voice.
Same with any calls I make.

If I am not using the bluetooth I can hear the voices okay through the pc speakers.

I have set up Skype to use the headphones. I can hear the notification ping when I receive an IM via Skype and I can hear the ringing out noise when making calls.

Any clues?

Do you have/can you find audio setup wizard? This should check mic and sound system.
