Good evening. Does anyone know into which section I should place a query on how to do something on a Nokia 3310 mobile 'phone?

It's good to know that someone else uses a 10-year-old phone!
The instructions for cancelling all diverts are on pages 88 and 89 of the manual:

If those don't work, there might be a fault with the phone. Try turning it off, waiting a short while, and then turning it on again.
If that doesn't...

well it's either one or the other of those, the question really is which one? I've found questions on the Nokia 3310, but is it possible to see which section they've been placed in? I've had a look and couldn't see it written anywhere. I'm being a bit stupid tonight perhaps. The problem is that I went to an area with hardly any signal for Orange and my phone has a call divert sign on it which appeared automatically. I can't cancel it, though I've tried going to Call Divert and have pressed 'cancel' in every section. I'm going a little spare. :-/

If that doesn't work, try it again but take the battery out, and then replace it, when the phone is turned off.
If that still doesn't work, try restoring the factory settings (see pp 80 & 87). If you're asked for a security code (and you've not previously entered your own choice) it's 12345.

Oh thank you so much Buenchico. The problem went away when I pressed loads of buttons, so many in fact that I can't remember what it was that made it go away. I will however keep your reply so that I can refer to it in future. My 3310 is wonderful. I frequently drop it. I've dropped it twice into the bath and then taken it to bits and sat it in front of the warm air heater! It lost its ring for a long while and then it came back. Being a postie I once leaned over to smell a lavender bush and it fell into the bush. I didn't notice. Got back from doing the delivery and couldn't find it. I phoned it lots of times to ask it to come back to me. It was found about two months later, given to the postman who said he knew who had lost it. It still had the two fivers I'd stuffed in the back of it! Dear old 3310. I love it. It is unlocked, so I've put Maltese and Irish SIM cards into it too. :-)
