i bought a new wireless ( talk talk ) home telephone, it says on instructions that if i have broadband then i need to buy or install a " filter 2 of some sort, ive never heard of this, im connected currently to vigin media with phone, internet and tv.

what is a filter ? surely i can buy any type of wireless phone ( bt, talk talk ) or whatever and just whack it into socket and talk/ recieve calls ?

Do you have ADSL with virgin (comes through your phone line) or Virgn cable...

If the first you need filters, if the later you don't
