However, now that 'Subscribed Threads' are clearly listed down the right hand side of every page, perhaps e/mails are superfluous. Also, as indicated by China Doll, there are other means of keeping tabs on one's postings.
Sorry ummm, I don't see that a separate e/mail account would be advantageous, because one would still have to spend time deleting them from their in-box.

ummmm..I acknowledge what you are saying but I would not wish to set-up a number of e/mail addresses. Might be better if AB were able to ensure that all of its e/mails could only be accessed via a 'Junk Mail 'folder. That way it would only require one or two clicks to get rid of what could be dozen and dozens, if one is involved with a lot of lengthy threads.
bednobs...Anne is correct....E/mails are still received if you 'Subscribe' to a Question/Answer. Perhaps you never hit the 'Subscribe' button as I regularly do.
