Up date Ad-Aware.

I have been informed that my free Ad-Aware wants updating to the latest version, but try as I may, the download process just doesn't start.

The site that the update is on is Cnet.com.

I am operating on XP and my browser is firefox.

I have gone into Tools, Options, Security Tab, and Exceptions and typed in Download.com as recommended, and clicked Allow all to no avail.

Could anyone please advise me how I can obtain this update?

Go to the Lavasoft website and look for latest free version .. download.
Uninstall old version and reboot. Install new one you just acquired.

Then after you have setup your settings, try an update.
