Old computers

I've got an old PC that I'm getting rid of. Should I just take it to the tip, or is there anywhere that "recycles" old computers?

Anything older than a pentium 3 is not realy viable - it would cost more in postage & packing than the thing is worth.

but remember that even with the most reliable software, you can never wipe your hard disc totally clean. The only sure way to erase data from a hard disc is with a sledge hammer!
