I have a Netgear DG814 Wired Modem/Router. I have just bought a Netgear WGR614 Wireless Router to setup wireless in my home.

Can anyone help me connect them together so that the WGR614 serves as just an access point for my wireless connections?

Thanks in advance.

This wireless router has lan ports on the back, can you not just replace your wired router with this one?

I suppose you need to connect them together with a crossover Ethernet cable...

and then you might need to configure them.

I suppose you will end up with a diagram such as this one

with the wireless router instead of the "ethernet switch"
