Hi. I have downloaded a video from a camcorder but it has been saved in the folder as files called BUP, VOV and IFO. This plays on my PC using VLC Media Player with no problems, but how can I burn this video recording onto a DVD so that it can be watched on TV? I would like to take a few copies and post to my family. Happy to pay for software, though free would be great! Many thanks.

Do you mean VOB file?

they should already be in the correct format if so, burn them onto a DVD making sure they are in a folder called VIDEO_TS and stick the DVD into a normal player and see what happens.

Thanks CF. When using Nero and importing from the Video-TS file it shows 6 VOB files. Highlighted and imported all 6, which Nero asked if I wanted to merge all into one. Is that correct? Just seems a long winded way of burning to those I have sorted in the past. Cheers.
if they are already in a VIDEO_TS folder you should be able to just burn that folder onto a DVD as a data disk and it will work as it is.

If nero is suggesting you merge them, why not just try it each way and see which works better, it's not like a couple of blank DVDs are going to break the bank.
