Renault Megane RT 1.6 Indicators, Immobiliser fault...won't start
4 Answers
Ok,
The problem started on my way home from work when the dials all started to spin on the dash and the car engine cut out. Got it started again and it only cut out when I used the indicators or hazards. Limped it home like this and it has sat on my drive ever since. The only trouble is, this morning when I went to start it up, the indicators didn't work, key fob won't work and engine won't start. The immobiliser light on the dash isn't coming on either.
I am at a total loss. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful as I can't afford a huge garage bill. Thanks x

And it wasn't blowing the fuse either which is more strange. If there was a problem with the key fob, would this cause it? Ie, not being able to turn immobiliser off properly? Grasping at straws here :)
Please let me know if you got this problem sorted, because i have a renault clio and i have all the exact same symptoms/faults as you have. If you found out what the problem was could you please email me on [email protected] thanks
