I need to put a database in a web page along with a search form. I do not have any experience really in this area and have tried in frontpage, but when i publish it it tells me i have to have frontpage server extensions. Therefore I would prefer to use a different piece of software to Frontapfe. I have tried a search but nothing much seems to come up. If anyone can help with a step by step guide that would be great. Thanks

I'm afraid there is no simple answer to this question.

It sounds like you need to familiarise yourself with scripting languages - ASP is generally the one you would go for. If I coulp help further I would but your going to have to learn a new language!

You can use frontpage like you suggested however you will need to call your ISP and request that FrontPage Extensions are enabled, they will send you all the details you need.
