How to rip/download Lovefilm streaming films?

If possible, can you guys give me a couple of ideas on how I could rip/download lovefilm streaming films or save lovefilm online instant streams to hdd.

Is there something like a video downloader program that can also handle lovefilm streaming and can rip/download films from lovefilm or anything like this?

Tough call, mate.

Honestly I haven't used Lovefilm to stream and watch films online but I was tempted to get a trial and see how the whole Lovefilm streaming service works, especially since I saw you can also get dvd rentals sent your way.

But from the looks of it, I don't think you could actually download Lovefilm films, you can only stream them online.

I don't think it's possible to download or save online streaming films from lovefilm subscription or anything like this.

Shame on me I know, but I actually had a go at it with some video downloader add-on I have on my firefox browser that is supposed to download streaming videos from all sorts of sites.

Didn't manage at all to download or save lovefilm instant streaming films with it so I can only assume there's no way to solve this.

Only used lovefilm for a short period some time ago, honestly.

Might be mistaking, but as far as I recall, Lovefilm actually had some download to burn service that allowed you to download films from lovefilm and burn them to dvds or something like this.

Wonder what happened to that one,why did they stop letting you download lovefilm films to burn to dvds?

Of course I don't wanna be a thief or anything like this, I just wanted to see if it's possible to save a couple of lovefilm streaming films for offline watching on some mobile device cause I will be going on a trip soon.

It's not like I want to download lovefilm streams so I could just share them everywhere on the web, this question was intended purely for my use.
I have better things to do with my time that ripping streaming movies and getting them on the internet for everyone.

It is probably worth checking the t's & c's of the lovefilm website. I would be very surprised if you can legally do this even if it is for your own use.
