Hi guys! Am needing some help please!

!

Since clicking on a Facebook video last week my laptop has gone bonkers (excuse the lack of punctuation in this post but one of he many problems is that certain keys wont work) I cannot type numbers or punctuation marks I also get loud screeching noises when signing on to laptop and cannot get shift button to work ach time I click on a web page or link a new window opens up (internet settings are fine) Basically its just doing alot of crazy stuff I have since learned that the video in question was a probable Trojan I have been looking for a free trojan remover but cannot find a free one (plenty free software to locate the trojans but all want money to remove them) I have backed up my files and intended to restore laptop to factory settings using Fll button but this doesnt do anything I have made a recovery disc (over three discs) but when i put them in i dont know which file to click on the start recovery (there are many files that i dont understand on each disc) HELP Can anyone offer any technical advice cos i dont know where to go from here Thanks in advance

You need to start your laptop up with the recovery disks in the drive to perform a recovery, not just put the disk in when it's already turned on.

Also malwarebytes is free and will remove most stuff, so I'd suggest trying that first.

Do you have anti-virus software? If not, download microsoft security essentials which is from Microsoft and is FREE (so why people spend money on other ones beats me). Let if download, install and update - needs a reboot, I think - and then do a full scan on your system.

(You probably want the x86 version, the second download button.)
