Keyboard acting strangely

I have a small plug-in keyboard for my laptop as I spilt coffee on the original and it is kaput. A short while ago it suddenly started typing Cyrillic characters. I had to restart in order to get back to normal. I presume I must have pressed some key combination to do this, unless it is just playing up. Anyone any idea what I might have done? This actually could be a useful function for me.

Wonderful. Thank you. I must have accidentally typed those keys. I have tried it and it works, so I know now for the future.
