Amazon kindle download useage
3 Answers
I have a limited useage of 10GB per month from BT under my option 1 plan. Was thinking about buying a kindle and was wondering how much of my download allowance would one book take. Also, are these kindles any good. Thanks.

And it's a matter of opinion if they are any good or not, a lot of people love them.... some hate them.

As chuck says, it will hardly make a dent in your limit. But if you get the 3G version, you can download with no limits for absolutely nothing as you will be using Amazon's free network instead of BT.

What can I say? I take mine to the beach everyday. I just love it. You can also put audio books on it, and listen to mp3s while you read (although, you need to supply your own headphones, and audio seriously shortens the battery life - as does leaving the wireless turned on when not in use).
The biggest problem I've found is that your book consumption seriously increases, as it's so easy, when you finish a book, to just get the next one!
As I have triple astigmatism, myopia, and presbyopia, the ability to increase the text size is a big bonus.
