Humax PVR-9300T
3 Answers
I wonder if anyone else has suffered the same problem as I have with this machine? Twice now it has suddenly gone blank with with the message "No Signal". The first time it happened I checked all the cables were seated correctly, still no joy. I gave up and switched it off. The next day I tried it again and it was working again and it had still recorded my schedule. Now the same thing has happened again all the buttons are working and the display shows the correct time and channels when i change them. I have rung the Humax helpline and all they say is that the cables should be checked. The signal is clearly getting through to the PVR, and I have tried the cable in a different HDMI slot and even tried a different cable to no avail. Does anyone what could be wrong?

The signal strength at your aerial isn't constant. It's affected by lots of things, such as local electrical interference, changes in atmospheric pressure and solar flares. I suspect that your PVR will only function properly when the signal strength is above a certain threshold . Most of the time it is, but it occasionally falls too low.
A simple signal booster (around £6 in larger branches of Tesco) will probably fix your problem.
