Nokia OVI suite

I have just received a Nokia C3-01

Has anyone any idea how one downloads maps onto it?

All I know that one needs to go to the OVI site.

Do these maps cost anything?

The phone is illustrated with three headings on the bottom of the screen, Go to, Menu and Names, but my phone has Go to, Menu and Virgin.

Is it possible to change the last one from Virgin to Names, all I will need to do then is to press Names to go immediately to my contacts?

I would be very grateful if anyone could please help me.

This would be the first step to getting maps onto your phone.

No, they shouldn't cost you a penny (except in data usage when out and about).

Free and very efficient too, have yet to get lost---although the voices are a bit grating!! B.

should give you some help. I suggest exploring settings > personal > Shortcuts.

I find it annoy how the carrier tried to wedge themselves into your device - therefore making it non standard.

Can I now bother you once again?

I updated my OVI suite, and it already had some of my original Nokia 5530 content on it, it updated all the information from my new phone, but although i now have all of my photos and contacts onto my new phone I still have not got my messages on the phone.

How can I syncro my messages from OVI suite to my phone?

Also I tried to down load maps from the OVI, but it told me I should first open Maps application on my phone.

But I can't find any information how to do this in my instruction book.

I would be most grateful if you could help me out please.
