What does her dress sense have to do with her ability to fix a laptop? To say I'm confused would be an understatement. This may help you.
I just googled black screen.
http://www.ehow.com/h...top-black-screen.html

And why is a woman mad for wearing short skirts?Minis up to her armpits and hemlines to well you don't know ? You do seem very judgemental.
I hope the link helps your PC problem and that in future you are maybe a little less judgemental about women and their choice of clothing.
Question Author
Iits not judgemental its a family joke, maybe I was wrong to post it on here
Has nothing to do with the woman or her abilities or your post.I guess your family find it funny? Some others might not?Is it mad for a woman to wear a short skirt?Who can say?But it is very judgemental in my opinion and i'm sure the lady in question wouldnt appreciate it if you said it to her face?Which i'm sure you didn't.
Hope the link helps you.
Ignore him carandrog...............he's like that with everyone.
Im sorry craft but does how you dress affect your ability to do a job ?I have posted a useful link , but do think derogatory comments werent really necessary. Were they ?
I do try to give honest answers that address the question.Im sure that's the point of here. Or am i wrong?
As I believe the comments were meant to be amusing, I don't find them in the least derogatory...............
A woman's mad because she wears a miniskirt? And hemlines up to wherever?Wasn't that supposed to insinuate some sort of low moral standard? And shes apparently mad too?Im no grammatical expert,i but it does sound closer to derogatory than complimentary wouldnt you say ? Its just a pity carandog didn't google the problem as there are pages of answers on black screen for laptops and i would like to think one might have helped and saved him/her some money.Anyway im sure I've said far too much already on the subject , but thanks for the debate craft.
Is it dark where your head is?
Hopefully you find an arguement elsewhere. You certainly wont with me.Good evening craft.
70 squiggles to Rasputin, who is the mad one ?
Teddy_boy....you have my sympathies.

On AB, and i real life i suppose ;-) are only honest if they agree with the "party line" and if they don't, then by definition they are not "honest answers"

Now before giving an "honest answer" on AB you have to decide whether it is a) very honest b) quite honest c) not very honest.

If it is a)...then forget it, if it is b) then depends upon what mood you are in, but give it a go and if it is c) and popular and what they want to hear...then you are on a winner,

In AB at the moment there is a trend among some Abers to either seek a ban on your opinions or start their opinions by the phrase "don't listen to..so and so"....LOL

You seem to be doing OK to me....depends if you are here for popularity or entertaining debate.

The choice is yours.
Teddy boy, what the hell has a mini skirt to do with a Laptop? can you not answer Carandrog question which is about her lap top, what the hell is this site coming to.

What's a hemlnes?
"don't listen to..so and so"....LOL

Only on some threads ;-)
TWR....it was posted in Chatterbank.....not the best place for a technical problem.

"with minis up to her arm pits and hemlnes well i don't know where" and this was entered by the OP opening up an avenue of opinion.
The thing is did Teddy_boy's link sort the situation or not ?

Ron.
carandrog's comment about her local IT expert's dress sense may not be relevant to her actual question but it was obviously meant as a light hearted comment.

Why Teddy_boy chose to bang on about it I don't know... perhaps he has issues with mini skirts and hemlines himself... cross dresser?
"with minis up to her arm pits and hemlnes well i don't know where"

I don't recall you bringing it to me?? :)

Anyhow, it's almost certainly overheating due to a build up of fluss and dust on the fan and heat sink.
