memory problems

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Today we were sorting the motorhome out for this weekends trip, we are going to Ragley Hall for the Proms in the Park I suddenly thought, we had been away last weekend but could not think where we had been. Found OH and asked him where we had gone to last weekend, he looked blank and said give me a minute, eventualy we came up with the answer - Bristol Balloon Festival. Now how worried should I be, we are both going down the same route with memory loss, just think of the exciting conversations we could be having a year or so down the line?

Today we went to our U3A skittles#/lunch at a local pub, I was having a conversation with someone and half way through a sentence I had to stopo, I had forgotten what I was talking about, so embarrassing but everyone understood as we are all of similar ages.
You're not alone .
I had to fill in a form a couple of days ago in a shop about a complaint I had .
I couldn't remember my postcode or my telephone number for the life of me . I kept umming and aaaring until it eventually came to me .
Mind you it was hot and muggy and I was a bit stressed .
I often go upstairs and stand there wondering what on earth I went up there for in the first place .

Elsie - that has made me laugh - really laugh. I am empathetic too though. If you heard some of the conversations I have with my Big Sis - well, perhaps it is better you don't. Mind you, we always end up having a good laugh about it. Sometimes I rememebr the missing bits the next day or even later. Then I have to make a note of it, lest I forget again. <<sigh>>
