My printer (an hp Deaskjet3050 psc) I had as a xmas pressie, its been fine but the inks have run out & I've got the new cartridges to go in, but can't work out how to get the old ones out. In the instructions it says "Pull pink tab to remove clear tape"
but we can't find a pink tab, what are we doing wrong?
HELP!

Thankyou - Jem.

"Pull pink tab to remove clear tape"
Surely that refers to the NEW cartridges . . . to remove the seal?
Think gen is right, it's for the NEW cartridge before you put it in. Google your printer and how to replace inks...it might show you.
It could mean having a good yank at your ear:-)
This pic http://www.printerbra...-Cartigde-570x450.jpg would seem to show that you pull down the front panel and the old cartridges are right in front of you, waiting to be pulled out (probably push down and pull).

Of course you're right gen, I said so myself but H insisted he was right (Doh!) I've had a nightmare over this this aft'n, all because I listened to him and left it to him. Grrr!
Thanks Bibble that was informative. All is well now. Thanks too Daisy.

(I can't believe I let him over-ride me, won't happen again)

Hi Jemisa....I am pleased that you no longer have a problem with your printer.

HP has a good 'on-line' help facility and, just in case you have any further problem it could be worthwhile bookmarking the following:-

PS. My Comp and printer are HP.
