bad myspace address...how to change it ...but keep it ...?
1 Answers
i am looking for a way of changing an established myspace address for one that makes more sense and reads better...but the old one is well established and written on many things etc ...so we need to keep it linked somehow to the new one, so anyone to goes to it still gets onto the page...
does anyone know how to do this...?
thanks
(idiot band member picked a really stupid address and printed it on everything before anyone could change it...)

Another option would be to move on to something like bandcamp (or soundcloud) for hosting your music and running a facebook page in conjunction to cove the social aspects. If you made this migration you could keep the old url on myspace for legacy fans and try growing the fanbase more effectively (with less "stupid" branding) with bandcamp and facebook.
If you're set on doing what you wish to do then I suggest trying to contact MySpace Support: http://www.myspace.com/help or contacting their @askmyspace twitter account.
