Paypal Scam
Just a warning to others. I received an email the other day, supposidly from Paypal telling me that my payment for about $500 for a new laptop had been sent to this firm in US. I was immediately suspicious because the email went to an email address different to the one I use for Paypal.
I went into my Paypal account and there was no mention of the transaction, so I emailed the firm in the US and informed them. I received an email from them saying that the Paypal email did not originate from them, and under no circumstances should I click on any link.
I have now forwarded the scam email to Paypal.

Of course the email is addressed "dear paypal customer" rather than identifying me by name so I know it's a fake and I don't click on any links,. I usually delete them but I did first forward one today to [email protected]
