When starting my PC the screen, just as it looks as if ready to use,has started to switch off, on, off, on, off and back on then stay fine for the rest of thhe time. This has happened for a few months now but have coped with it until today. Now it has started to do this a lot more and not only just after start up but at anytime. I presume there is a fault in my tower somewhere. Cud it be the graphics card or RAM? Anyway of checking or running a diagnostic? Any help appreciated. Cheers

I guess your best bet is to swop for another monitor to see if the fault lies in the monitor ofr the PC (or maybe the cable).

At least that should tell you what needs to be looked at.

If it is in the PC then if you can get hold of a substitute graphics card you may be able to isolate the fault further.
