Program for enlarging digital photos

Hi! Have just started printing my own photos via my Epson printer. Many of them are small and I`m looking into a program that will enlarge them without the pixellation problem.
Have read about PhotoZoom and Wall Photo Maker but know nothing about them. Does anyone have experience with either of these that they can pass on to me?

What resolution is your camera?
You say many of the images are small, but what does that mean?
A typical modern digital camera has a resolution of between 7 and 12 Megapixels.
Printed at 300 dpi (which is generally regarded as glossy magazine quality) typical printed images sizes will be:

7 Mega-pixels: 10.2 x 7.7 inches
11 Mega pixels: 13.6 x 9 inches

Not possible. If the detail isn't in the original, increasing the size by 'adding' pixels (interpolation) will still result in a 'fuzzy' or 'pixelated' image, getting worse the larger you go...

I've a Fuji Finepix Camera 10mp,use an Epson Photo RX685 printer and regulary print photos up to A4 with no problems, just a matter of going to printer settings for such things as the size, type of paper and and quality of print

Wrong. It all depends on the size of/detail in the original image and how much you want to enlarge to.

Depending on what operation system you use the are some professional applications that can expand a digital image while maintaining the image quality of the original. For Mac OS and Windows then try HSC Edit3 (plug in for Photoshop. Lightroom, Elements or Aperture) from Human Software or just for Mac OS then Genuine Fractals from onOne Software (Photoshop, Lightroom and Aperture plug in). Both of these are professional level application at around £100 each. Fractals offers a free 30 day trial

I`ve only just got back and I appreciate all the answers you`ve given. I`m sorry that I`m remarkably ignorant when it comes to photography and stuff like resolution etc I`m a slow learner but I know what I can do and I guess that the answer by Milvus suits me best. an application that can expand the photo while keeping the quality of the original.

I`ve made a note of all the technical data that`s been given, many thanks. When I say some pictures are small, I mean that I probably have cropped a very tiny image from a larger picture and I just want to expand it to see it better. (I call them para-pics)

I`ll see if I can try the Fractals offer.
