Hi

I bought a JVC Camcorder GRFXM40 on saturday on the net adn to my horror today I can't use it because the cassette indicator symbol is flashing, I've changed tapes and checked the slided back and forth the erase protection tab but still not getting the symbol to stop flashing to allow me to record anything!! please help! anyone with any advice I would be eternally grateful as I am going away friday morning!

I would advise contacting JVC direct to see if they can solve it over the phone. The UK customer service number is 0870 330 5000.
