So, you've got problems answering questions on The AnswerBank?

There are two likely causes of this:

1. You're new and haven't worked out how exactly to post an answer. There are a few restrictions on posting an answer on The AnswerBank. Please watch the video below for more information - it is a walk-through of the answering process. (We also have other helpful videos here: https://www.youtube.com/theanswerbank)

2. You're using an old internet browser. Internet Explorer 6 doesn't display The AnswerBank correctly, and in fact, removes the submit button from questions! To continue using The AnswerBank you need to upgrade your browser. We suggest Internet Explorer 8 or 9, Firefox 6 or Google Chrome. Here is our guide to upgrading your Internet Browser: http://www.theanswerb...our-internet-browser/

Please let me know if you have any issues.

All the best,

Ed

Purely a personal opinion on which I hope the Technical Abers comment.

Forget about IE and use Firefox.

Ron.
IE has its uses, especially as most of the world's websites are configured for it. Of course, most of the world's viruses are too. I still find the occasional site that looks daft on Firefox, just as they sometimes used to on Netscape back at the dawn of time, but generally Firefox is fine.
I get on well with Firefox which is my default Browser. I also have Google Chrome, IE, and Opera but still prefer FF; which seems to work well for me on AB.

Ron.
Ed the Youtube link in point 1, does not work.
lol ;o)

Fixed!

Chrome is very quick, but suffers most often from Flash issues. FF is fine, but often slow to start up.

FF has the advantage of add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

and Chrome extensions: https://chrome.google...webstore?category=ext

IE9 has been very good in my experience.
Thank you.
''Firefox 6''

^ For OS X 10.5 (Leopard and above) on a Mac... or Firefox v.3.6 for OS X 10.4 (Tiger)...
I use IE9..............no problems whatsoever (is there such a thing as browser snobbery?)
do keep up, cazzzz, I'm on IE12 now
bleah, craft, not cazzzz...
I've got IE9 and much as I didn't like it at first, I'm getting used to it now.

headwreck.... I regret being unable to help resolve your difficulty because I am not a Techie. Nevertheless I feel sure that other ABers would advise if you gave full details as regards your posting problems.

"may i also suggest putting the 'home' link on top of page like other webpages as i forgot it was at bottom with contact and all other rules etc."

Click the logo, that will take you home (like most other webpages!)

"I already use chrome, clicked on link and only ever get this,
Chrome Web Store
The app is currently unreachable "

Which link?
