Can you believe you wrote that?

I read about this lady who has kept every text message she has received since 1999 - and is publishing them all in a book. I wish I'd done that but i have got some old diaries in the wardrobe and I love getting them out every now and again to see what bothered me and things that happened that i might have forgotten about plus the words you used back in the day. Have you got any interesting texts you've kept? Or even better have you any funny stories lurking in an old diary you don't mind sharing with us? I think I spent a whole two months writing about a guy called David and I read diary entires now about him and can see clearly see he was in no way interested in me but when I was in the moment I was so oblivious! I find myself giving myself a good talking to giving "Zammo he's just not that into you"!!!

I have kept my diary from Grammar school days - its SO embarrassing to read about all the crushes I had on boys - "that fab boy who works at the Library LOOKED at me today when he passed me in town" (cringe!) also about my crush on the Beatles "I Luv John Lennon!!!" I stopped writing in a daily diary when I married in 1968 but started again in 1987 and have faithfully filled it in ever since. It has really come in handy when arguments start - "What year did we go to ....... or when did so and so visit etc ! The whole family consult Ann and her trusty diaries!
