Sky+ recording/reminding?

If I've set up a programme to record on Sky+ but I also want to set a reminder for the same programme as I want to watch it if I'm in when it's on, can I do this? The record symbol changes to a reminder symbol so I'm just wondering has it changed to a reminder or does it still store the record function also?

I think it is one or the other - record it, and if you are in you can just watch it.

So pretty, if I have it set up to record and then also set it to remind, do you reckon it will remind about the prog and also record it?

I don't think it will record it if you ask it to remind you. You can always press record whilst you're watching it though.

yes i am sure you can, but sorry i cant be 100% sure. OH won't give me sky controls to check..

I have the controls and just set a random program to record and set it to reminder, lets see what happens.

Sort of annoying that. you'd think the record facility would overwrite the remind one.

I record everything I watch, no chance of missing anything then (and u can zap the adverts).
