lost cursor!!

Help my touch pad has lost my cursor, I expect it is something quite simple but can someone please tell me how to get it back. My mouse finds it ok by the way. Janet and thanks in advance xx

Probably disabled touchpad accidentally. Use mouse click Start>Control Panel> then depending on operating system find mouse / pointing device. See if settings for touchpad are correct and enabled. Other possibility is corrupted or missing driver. You can check driver status by... Start>R.click my computer>properties>hardware>device manager. Find pointing device doubleclick to check driver and / or troubleshoot.
