Television reception.

Here in the South East, we shall soon be moving to digital Television. Could anyone who's area has already been converted, confirm what kind of aerial will then be required.
I am planning to buy a new 26" flat screen TV with Freeview preloaded. We do not watch Sky, Virgin or other satellite broadcasts nor are we interested in HD.
Will some sort of built in or set top aerial suffice?
Much obliged for anyones thoughts on this.

I suspect that a lot of people are being told that they must shell out for a new aerial when it's not necessary. I have two elderly neighbours who have been conned like this in recent weeks. I have a 15 year old aerial from which I run 3 TVs, each with their own STB and apart from an aerial booster I have nothing fancy at all.

Thanks; yes I certainly want to avoid the scam merchants. But I'm not sure I asked the question clearly. This area currently does NOT get Freeview .. so I'm looking at the problem as though I was starting from scratch. But; analogue reception is good and a set top aerial works fine. I had hoped to get away with the existing set top aerial.
