Im with Virgin Media and have a V+ box with broadband. Im thinking about freeview instead so how would I go about it? I know I need to buy a box but would I need an outside arial? Im not very good with things like this. TIA.

You would need an outside arial for freeview, or a satellite dish for freesat.
Surely you have freeview with virgin?
Freeview will need an aerial as the programmes are transmitted over the air.
Roof preferably, but if you are in a strong signal area you may find an indoor aerial copes.
A Freeview Plus DigiBox for recording Programmes and a RoofTop erial for better reception.
Not sure what part of the Country you live regarding whether your region has changed fully to Digital TV

I thought I might have freeview Sonyme but I dont know how to find out. We went digital late last year. I might go for the box I can record with. Thanks all.
