epg on humax

ive had three programmes in the last three days that have finished recording aprox 60 sec before the prog has finished, any ideas whats responsible? (using the epg)
it's becoming a pain missing the last min or so or something your recording,

Hi deggers Can you go into menu & add time on to end of recordings?

ill try that but of course the whole point of egp is that a signal is sent thru to the box to say "start /stop".

Been using one for over a year now and in all that time and countless recordings that has only ever happened about twice. Be advised if you add extra time you lose the series link facility (on mine anyway)

The EPG in the Humax is probably working on the exact time of day and not taking into account programmes running late.
Switch to Manual recording instead.
My Sky + Box works fine off EPG

i went into settings and added 1 minute to start padding and stop padding (whatever that is) sounds like what i'm after,
redman ,no it works on the station signal that's what's throwing me?
btw just found this "I've read that the Humax boxes aren't the best with accurate record as they use a slightly different method to work out the start and end."
