Box popping up only on here

I keep getting a box pop up but only since i have been on here. It says

A username and password are being requested by http://hosting.uk.adjug.com. The site says: "?"

then theres a bit to put your username and a bit to put your password.

anyone know what it is? never seen it before anywhere

I'm not a techie but I THINK it's when you click on to read a post and your pc and the server have a bit of a chit-chat. It goes through a whole hoo-ha for loading the adverts and avatars and so on and so forth.

thanks for that.... thinking about it i think it did pop up as i changed pages..... flipping technology lol
