I want to burn a youtube video onto a DVD-R disc, and since I use FireFox as my browser I was advised to download it as a FireFox Add-On.
I have now downloaded it but can find no button or anything to open it up, can anyone now please tell me where can I find 'Flash video downloader' on my computer, and how do I use it?
Sorry, I use a Mac not a Windows PC but this may be helpful.
The file is likely to download as a .flv file. I think you will need to also convert it to a .mpeg or .avi in order for it to play on a domestic DVD player (if that is your intended use). Someone may be able to advise you how to do that on a PC.
Have you installed the addon AOG?
Look in Firefox/Tools/Addons/Extensions .. if it's installed, it is listed there.
It is for DOWNLOADING flash ... not burning or making DVD's.
If its the same that I use (on both mac and pc) you may see an arrow in the toolbar, next to where you type a web address, or you may see it down in the bottom right corner task bar or Firefox.
You then start playing the video, and the arrow will go blue to indicate that you can download it - click on the arrow. You will be given the list of all formats available for downloadng.
If you opt for the flv format, it will need conversion before it can be burned as dvd.
