I have just upgraded to W7 and while trying to connect my Kodak wireless printer it states that my firewall is blocking the connection and that I have to configure it via port 5353 to work. How please can I do this

What firewall do you have? (if you've not installed a separate one it will probably be part of your anti virus program)

It's unlikely to be the standard, built in windows 7 firewall as that doesn't block outbound connection as default.
I must have tweaked the settings then, my windows 7 firewall blocks both outbound and inbound, unless I give permission otherwise.
It's one of the reasons I use it rather than use a 3rd party firewall.
I'm sure that was the default setting.
Was trying to find out more on how to explain to 'stevie m' how to allow it through.
Click on the Start button and choose Control Panel....Open System and Security where you can configure the Windows Firewall.....;-)
Sorry I clicked too soon....you can restore the default settings in the left hand panel there....I have a wireless printer and I use just the default settings...You could just turn it off to see if it's the Windows Firewall is the culprit....
