How to change back to IE

Want to change from Firefox (which I love ) to IE to see if that helps with my lack of avatars. How do I do it, I have downloaded IE8 but nothings changed. Thanks.

start > all programs > internet explorer

Don't see why avatars are sooo important TBH..

But just find the IE icon in the start menu and click on it.

(it will probably help with the avatars to start with as it will create a new cache, but probably make no difference in the long run and the back button isn't working in IE for this site at the moment)

There is no IE in my progs or anywhere, and I've just downloaded IE8?

Click start > run and type iexplore.exe into the run box and press enter.

...when you do find the IE.exe...make a shortcut to it on your desktop if you intend to use it regularly.......

Neti, the avatar problem is affecting loads of ABers, irrespective of browser, it's to do with Gravatar.

I don't know what to do, soon I'll want an xmas avatar, this is all very annoying.
