I heard of someone who thought it was lots of love, so put it at the end of a condolence message.
I use this quite a lot. It's my age you know.

whoops *Albags*
Hopkirk, lol :o)
When I was a lad (Many many years ago) LOL simply meant 'Lots of love'. However,it was a few years after I had become a member of AB that I discovered it was being used to say 'Laugh out loud / Laughing out loudly'. Whereas all the time I was thinking how nice folk were being towards me by sending their best wishes.!!

LOL.....Ron.

Hi numbers...You appear to be a new member of AB and , no doubt, will get around to appreciating my sometimes false sense of humour.

I have already indicated that I always thought that LOL meant 'Lot of Love'. However I am now going to suggest that it could also mean 'Last off looses'.☺☺☺

Ron.
Please, please, somebody else post a comment.

I don't want to be a looser in this thread.:-)

Ron.
Ron - for "looser" do you mean 'loser'?
Lol ( lugs of leather - i.e. a bit deaf ... ) :-)
Yes..:-) Lol.
