minecraft lag

[Neocubes]

Whenever i try to ply minecraft on my laptop, i can only play it with the distance render on short. Id really like to be able to play on far.

Specs of my laptop:

Windows 7 32
Intel 2 duo CPU T5800
3gb ram

I use gamebooste when playing the game, and also disconnect from the internet. Any other ways of getting rid of this lag?
