During surfing the system locks up and the 'ctrl/alt/del' system tells me that"msqsrv32 is not responding". What is this? Windows 98 SE Thanks Lee

msqsrv32 is a part of windows, does some unimportant stuff like plays start up/power down sounds, but also handles plug and play messages betweeen various parts of the OS, makes automatic responses to setup progs and runs the shell program (apparently) Nothing you can do really, just press reset or power button (you may need to hold power button for a few seconds to get PC to power down)
